3 Things Women Don’t Need To Seduce Men

Every woman has an opinion on what they need to land the man of their dreams. Some women think that for men, it’s just all about the body. Others think that having a “fun” personality is attractive. Here is a list of five things that are commonly believed to attract men which actually only play a minor role in the game…
1. The Body
Look, I’m not going to lie. I personally believe that the female body is a work of art. Curves get me going. However, prostitutes only have the body and look where they’re at. Besides a “professional” relationship, I doubt they’re actually happy where they’re at.
2. The Brains
The next big thing that women think guys go for is brains. Yes, and no. It’s pretty safe to say that people of similar intelligence will be attracted to each other. Although there are the occasional relationships with people who have vastly different IQs, a “smart” male generally won’t go for a “dumb” female and vice versa. Brains play an important role in communication.
3. The Personality
This is how you ladies behave. After the honeymoon period’s over, you show your true personality. The fact that there’s something called the “two year itch” just goes to show that people’s personalities do tend to grate after a long enough period of time. If it was just all about personality, we’d all hate each other. Everyone has things they don’t like about the other person.
There is something else that keeps people together. These three things aside, what else is there that men are attracted to?
You could say confidence, but that’s something that all people want and are attracted to. We’re looking for something female-specific that men dig about women.
There’s something that leads to confidence, something that men really adore about specific women.
What is it? I’ll give you a clue. Every person wants this. When you talk with someone, when this “thing” is achieved, you can’t help but feel a sense of connection with that person.
If you communicate with someone and you don’t have this, even if you talk and talk and talk, it can be really frustrating. The lack of this “thing” can drive people apart but if this “thing” is present from the very beginning, an entire relationship can blossom straight from it.
Whatever it is, several women throughout history have used “this” to select the man of their dreams. Why do I say select? It’s because women have used this skill on men such that they can’t help but fall for the woman. The woman can simply pick and choose the best man of the lot.
Wouldn’t that be something?
Anyway, the next time you’re out and about, keep dressing up, talking smart and being friendly, but bear in mind that there’s something else you have to achieve if you want that particular man to pursue you…
This “something” has 13 letters, starts with “u” and you’ll read more about it in tomorrow’s post.
For now, here’s another article that will teach you more about this secret skill…

ktravula – a travelogue! On Language, Writing, Travel and Other things Morning in Ife I’m on a quasi-field trip around some rural cities in Nigeria along with two linguists from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. I have been out of internet access for a few days now and might be for a little while more. I will do all I can to keep updating this blog as often as I can, but I can’t promise that it will be every day. I do have my own internet connection but this trip is proving to be a new adventure in discovering just how much “national coverage” the so-called internet service providers have. I’ve been in Ife for a few days now, and I will be in Akungba tomorrow. I’m heading northwards and northwards until I reach whoknowswhere , or I get tired and decide to head back. Thanks to all who asked after me, and those who never left the blog even for one day. This is heart-warming. Greetings from Ife, the accla...

How To Repair Your Laptop Power Plug / Jack

It's almost inevitable that you'll need to repair your laptop power plug if you own a Toshiba Satellite A70 unless you've already had the main board replaced in which Toshiba have applied a well overdue modification similar to what you’ll see here. The DC jacks on these units are weakened over time with general use and become unstable and loose, in some cases detaching themselves from the main board altogether. In the one we have pictured the plug detached from the board completely and had to be resoldered and modified due to the rear pin connection breaking away from the plug. You can see the red wire which had to be added to replace the broken pin, this won't always have to be done. Once the plug has had all of its board mounted points resoldered it is advisable to add an epoxy resin around the outer edge of the plug to fix it to the main board, this will minimise movement when the adapter is plugged into it. I generally use Araldite. Toshiba...
